Benvenuto has been invited to an
exclusive viewing of the Valeria
Bella Gallery in the centre of Milan.
The gallery was founded by the
eponymous Valeria Bella—a
pioneering woman in the art
dealing world, a formidable and
inspiring woman who built her
own business in a city which, while
enjoying an economic boom, was
still socially very conservative.
Since 1964, the gallery has been
dealing with fine prints—old master,
modern and contemporary—in
both the national and international
markets. In 2008 a department
of vintage and contemporary
photography was added at the behest
of Valeria’s son, Michele Bella.
An accomplished photographer and
now the gallery manager, Michele
is delighted to welcome Benvenuto
members for an aperitivo and
introduce them to the gallery and
its incredible collection.
The main criterion adopted by the
gallery in selecting the works on
offer—from renowned artists to
lesser-known authors—is quality.
Every print and photograph is carefully
studied and comes with a certificate
guaranteeing its authenticity.
The gallery also publishes
important illustrated catalogues
and is a reference point for
collectors and scholars.
