You are invited to enjoy an evening with Trio
Voce, a chamber music trio from Finland. Thanks
to its long standing association with Circolo Volta,
our Club has been given 25 seats for this special
performance. The event will last about two hours and
is free of charge.
Trio Voce was founded in 2007 by experienced
chamber musicians Elina Eirola (violin) Timo Törmä
(cello) and Risto Kyrö (piano). The trio has performed
in Finland, Moscow, Baku, Istanbul, Minsk, Vilnius
and toured in the Middle East in 2010 and 2012. The
members also teach and lecture.
Elina Eirola: Violinist, graduate of Sibelius Academy
(Helsinki) and Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory
(St. Petersburg), former member of major Finnish
orchestras, currently also teaching at Loimaa Music
Institute.
Timo Törmä: Cellist, Sibelius Academy graduate with
honors, performed across Europe, lecturer at Kuopio
Conservatory.
Risto Kyrö: Pianist, studied at Sibelius Academy,
Indiana University (US), and Vienna Academy, lecturer
at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, with a
doctorate on Franz Schubert.
