The Greenway is a leisurely and pleasant walk between Colonno and Tremezzo following traces of the Antica Strada Regina, the antique road connecting them, built by the Romans. This 11 km long itinerary leads through ancient villages with wonderful examples of architecture, alongside villas and gardens, and offers charming views.
Meeting time and place: 8:30am meeting point at Milano Centrale Railway Station, at the front of the platform of Regional train 25510 (headed to Locarno). At 8:43am, train to Como S. Giovanni (arr. 9:22am) followed by 9:54am bus to Colonno (arr. 10:32am).

To come back: 3:44pm bus from Tremezzo to Como S. Giovanni (arr. 4:42pm) followed by 5:36pm train to Milano Centrale (arr. 6:17pm)
Equipment: daily backpack, hiking boots or good running shoes, comfortable clothes in layers, warm jacket, rain jacket, 1 liter bottle of water (canteen), identity card
