A pleasant outing between woods
and lake! We will take an uphill
path under the chestnut trees of
Mount Scioscia, until reaching a
charming viewpoint overlooking the
surrounding area (Mount Cornizzolo,
Lakes Segrino and Pusiano). Then
the track heads downhill to Lake
Segrino. We will enjoy this charming
natural area and follow the banks
of the lake on a flat and easy trail,
leading us back to the starting point.
Lake Segrino’s waters are considered
among the cleanest in Europe,
coming from underground springs,
so we can happily have a swim there!
Meeting time and point: at 7:50am
in front of the ticket office of Milano
Nord Cadorna station with an 8:09am train to Canzo (arr. 9:26am).
